Facet Fashion Show: Cupcake Mafia – Ras Collection By MFW – Chenai Designs – Christina Lowanga

Facet Fashion Show continues today with four designers!!
It was truly my pleasure to attend the Facet fashion show and it fills my heart with joy to be able to share such amazing designers with you!!

Cupcake Mafia

First off, all the models killed it when walking for Cupcake Mafia! It was obvious the models luvved the collection, and I couldn’t blame them, I luvv the collection too! The bandana print pants and the crop top sweater was a crowd favorite. I luvved that Cupcake Mafia made street wear look cute on women.  I appreciate that Cupcake Mafia added details that gave this street wear line a feminine touch.

 Ras Collection By MFW

Seriously, this is how real men should dress.
Ras Collection by MFW Apparel explains the collection perfectly:

Our designs are a step above the usual and monotonous style of Rasta clothing saturating today’s fashion market. The RAS collection is for the Renaissance man. Our men’s wear is comfortable yet distinguished.”
The fact that MFW is making the conscious decision to grow the Rasta style is a big deal. MFW has decided to break the glass ceiling and offer a very clean, powerful look for the Rasta man. It’s designers like MFW that keep fashion moving forward.

Chenai Designs

Now, this is how print should be worn!
I luvv how Chenai Designs took African prints and mixed it with current trends like the jumper, peplum top, and leather jogger pants. I respect Chenai Designs ability to mix African and Western influence, and look forward to seeing more from her line.

 Christina Lowanga

Christina Lowanga collection screams trend setter.
Every look took the type of risk that fashion forward people luvv. From the feathers to the pants with the skirt, it was all pushing the envelope. I appreciated that minimal accessories, it allowed all of the bold pieces to shine.
